Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2025
Agreement to terms
By accessing or using the feelsgood website (feelsgood.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.
Nature of the service
feelsgood is an independent online directory. We:
- • Connect people seeking therapy with independently listed practitioners
- • Provide general information about therapy approaches and mental health
- • Offer a quiz to help users identify potentially suitable therapy approaches
We are not a medical provider, healthcare organisation, clinical service, or emergency service. We are not responsible for any therapeutic relationship or outcomes arising from connections made through our directory.
Not medical advice
Nothing on feelsgood constitutes medical advice, clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified health professional about your personal mental health situation. Do not delay seeking professional help because of anything you have read on this site.
Practitioner conduct
feelsgood is not responsible for the conduct, qualifications, actions, or inactions of any practitioner listed in our directory. We do not employ practitioners and are not party to any therapeutic relationship. We strongly encourage users to verify practitioner credentials independently before booking. Any concerns about a practitioner should be raised with them directly and/or with their professional body.
User responsibilities
You agree to use feelsgood for lawful purposes only. You will not use this site to harass, impersonate, or harm others. You will not attempt to access areas of the site you are not authorised to access or interfere with the site’s functioning.
Practitioner listings
Practitioners who list on feelsgood are responsible for the accuracy of their own profiles. By listing, practitioners represent that they hold the qualifications and registrations stated and agree to abide by their professional body’s ethical standards.
Intellectual property
All content on feelsgood, including text, design, and code, is the property of feelsgood or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, feelsgood and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or any information provided on it. Your use of the site is entirely at your own risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
